How does the process work from start to finish?
Creating your personalised magazine is a simple, guided process:
Purchase & Connect: Start by placing your order. We'll then personally reach out via email to share a secure folder link for photo submission. We can use the iPhone Photos App, Google Photos (Android), or Google Drive, whichever works best for you.
Submit Content: Once you've uploaded your images, simply reply to our email to confirm they're ready. In the same reply, please confirm your chosen magazine cover and template, along with all the text you'd like to include (e.g., cover title, spine text, and any optional interior blurbs).
Design & Review: Our designers will get to work creating the first draft of your magazine. We'll send you a PDF proof for your review and approval to ensure you love the final layout.
Print & Deliver: Once we have your "green light," your magazine is added to our monthly print run. Our trusted supplier will print your custom magazines, and we'll carefully package and ship them directly to you.
Are Honey Prints magazines only for mums, or can I use them for other occasions?
While we love celebrating motherhood, our templates are designed to capture any special moment! You can use them for family photos, yearly recaps, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, pet stories, artwork compilations, and more. The possibilities are truly endless!
Can I edit or adapt the magazine template?
To ensure a consistent and professional finish, our templates are fixed. However, our skilled designers will thoughtfully arrange your photos, handling variations in landscape and portrait orientations to create a cohesive layout. We'll always strive for the best possible outcome with the photos you provide.
Can I review my magazine before it's printed?
Yes! We understand the importance of getting it just right. As part of our design process, you'll receive a PDF proof for one review, allowing you to make any necessary changes and ensuring you're completely happy with the layout before we send it to our trusted printer.
What text can I add to my magazine?
The amount of text you can have on the magazine cover will depend on your chosen cover design. All text on our magazine cover designs are fully customisable.
What if I'm not happy with my printed magazine?
We take immense pride in the quality of our magazines. If you receive a magazine with manufacturing defects or errors on our part, please contact us within 3 days of receiving your order, providing photos of the issue. We'll be happy to discuss a resolution, such as a reprint or refund. Please note that we are not responsible for errors in content or design that were approved by you in the final PDF proof.
What is the quality and finish of the magazine?
Our magazines are printed on high-quality, thick paper stock with a professional, durable finish, perfect for a coffee table book. We use premium digital printing to ensure your photos are vibrant and detailed.
Crucially, we use PUR binding for our construction. This is the strongest adhesive glue currently available on the market, offering significantly greater durability than standard binding methods (EVA) and ensuring your magazine lasts for years to come.
What file format should my photos be in?
For the best possible print quality, please provide your photos as high-resolution JPEG files. Please avoid providing screenshots or heavily filtered low-resolution images.
